Retain setting for future visits
We regret to announce that hi-resolution ASAR imagery is no longer available due to the failure of the ENVISAT satellite. This will obviously impact the level of service we can currently provide. However the European Space Agency is establishing alternative sources of imagery and we are working closely with them to ensure continuity of Polar View services.
Our aim is to continue a more focused service over the coming months and look forward to the launch of the Sentinel-1 satellite in 2013 which will fully replace ENVISAT ASAR imagery.
