Software

Geoserver
For serving geospatial data in compliance with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards, Polarview is using Geoserver.

OpenLayers
Polarview relies on OpenLayers for dynamic and browser driven mapping.

PostgreSQL
Polarview uses Postgresql as a relational database system backend

PostGIS
Polarview uses PostGIS for adding geographic support to PostgreSQL
